Hello, I’m Jeffrey Seaman, a researcher and writer on criminal law and criminal justice. I’m currently a Levy Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. My research focuses include improving criminal justice system effectiveness in cases of serious crime, decarceration and non-incarcerative punishments, equitable distribution of criminal justice system resources, and criminal law theory. I also have a master’s degree in behavioral science and try to approach criminal law and criminal justice topics from an interdisciplinary perspective. My goal is to help create a criminal justice system that is more just for all, be they victims, offenders, or community members.
